Where can I find the receipts in QuickBooks or Xero?

In QuickBooks Online

Find your receipts in QuickBooks:

All receipts uploaded via Receipt AI are stored in Attachments in QuickBooks. You can access them in two ways:

  1. Search in QuickBooks: Use the magnifier icon and search for 'Attachments' to view all uploaded receipts.
  2. From Receipt AI: Click “View in QuickBooks” under any individual receipt to open it directly in QuickBooks.
    Note: You may need to click twice if QuickBooks prompts you to sign in.

In Xero

Find your receipts in Xero:

Receipts uploaded via Receipt AI can appear in Xero as either files or transactions, depending on your settings. You can access them in the following ways:

  • As files:
    Click your company name, then select 'Files' to view all uploaded receipts stored as attachments.
  • As transactions (Spend Money / Receive Money):
    Go to Reconcile [xx] items, then select Account transactions to find receipts linked to transactions.
  • From Receipt AI:
    Click “View in Xero” under any individual receipt to open it directly in Xero.
    Note: You may need to click twice if Xero prompts you to sign in.
