Ever since I started working out, I kept one simple rule for myself:
At the end of every session, I do three extra reps.
No matter how tired I am, I tell myself: "You can do three more."
I didn't realize it at the time, but that small habit eventually followed me into work.
When I write an email, I push for a little more clarity.
When I'm closing a deal, I listen for what isn’t being said.
When I'm training a model at Receipt AI, I test three more edge cases - even when the accuracy already looks "good enough."
They're tiny things. Easy to skip. Easy to overlook.
But those small decisions stack over time - into better judgment, stronger systems, smoother products, and a little more capacity than yesterday.
The reps add up. They always do.
