I think AI has taken away one of my favorite parts of programming.
I used to spend an hour staring at a bug before something finally clicked.
Now, AI gives me the answer before I even have the chance to struggle.
I build more, faster. And I’m grateful for that.
But I didn't realize how much I valued the challenge itself.
My old boss always talked about how much he missed driving a car with a manual transmission.
I remember making fun of him.
"Cars are going to drive themselves."
He smiled.
"I know. They just weren't as fun."
